2018-2019 ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT
Drop in tuition is due at the time of service. Quarterly or monthly tuition must be paid by the first week of the month or quarter in order to reserve your weekly time slot. Tuition will not be pro-rated or discounted for planned absences or missed lessons. As with university tuition, piano lesson tuition is payable whether the student attends or not.
Monthly tuition installments are the quarterly tuition amount divided into equal payments, due each month of the quarter. Monthly installments are the same for each month in the quarter, regardless of how many lessons are on the calendar. If a student withdraws from lessons in the middle of a quarter there may be a balance to be settled due to the nature of the equal installments. It’s best if students commit to attending lessons for the entire quarter.
ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT
Tuition is payable by cash, check or online payments via Venmo. Please make Venmo payments by clicking the link in your invoice.
If a student is more than 15 minutes late to their lesson the it will be considered a no-show. No extra time will be added onto the end of a lesson if the student is late.
ABSENCES, CONFLICTS AND MAKEUP LESSONS
Please provide 24 hours notice for all cancellations.. For planned absences, please let me know as far in advance as possible, and reschedule your lesson using the online calendar. Lesson time can also be used by a family member or friend. Make-up lessons cannot be guaranteed as they are limited to available time slots.
REFUNDS AND CREDITS
Tuition will not be discounted or pro-rated for missed lessons. No refunds or credits will be granted if you choose to cancel lessons before the payment period is over. No refunds or credits will be granted for cancellations, planned absences, unused make-up lessons or no shows.
If you wish to withdraw from lessons please provide written notice by the 20th of each month or quarter. There will be no refunds or credits for withdrawal before the end of your payment period. If adequate notice is not received, you may be billed for an additional pay period.
